Skiller.Zone™ — Terms of Use

Last Updated: September 3, 2026 Status: Working draft — requires review by qualified legal counsel before publication.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Skiller.Zone™ platform, including the website and the Telegram Mini App (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Game Rules, and the Refund Policy (together, the "Agreement").

Skiller.Zone™ is operated by [Skiller.Zone™ Operating Entity — legal name pending], a company to be incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Seychelles (registration number: pending) ("Skiller.Zone™," "we," "us," "our"). This section will be finalized once incorporation is complete.

1. Eligibility

1.1. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use the Platform.

1.2. You may not use the Platform if you are located in, or are a resident of, a jurisdiction where participation in skill-based wagering platforms of this kind is prohibited by applicable law. A list of restricted jurisdictions is maintained internally and disclosed at registration; this list is subject to change based on legal guidance and is not exhaustive of every applicable local restriction. It is your responsibility to confirm that use of the Platform is lawful where you are located.

1.3. By registering, you represent that you are legally permitted to participate in skill-based wagering activities in your jurisdiction and that all funds used on the Platform are lawfully obtained.

2. Nature of the Service

2.1. Skiller.Zone™ is a skill-based competitive platform. Matches are decided by the players' skill in a supported sports simulator title, not by chance. Skiller.Zone™ offers only head-to-head skill matches played by the participants themselves. Games of chance and predictions on third-party events are outside the service.

2.2. No affiliation. Skiller.Zone™ is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any video game publisher or developer, any console or hardware manufacturer, any cloud gaming service, or any physical or digital gaming platform through which matches are played. Any references on the Platform to a "supported sports simulator" or "supported gaming platform" describe the third-party software or hardware used to play a match and do not imply any partnership, license, or endorsement.

2.3. Trademarks. Skiller.Zone™ does not use, and prohibits its users and affiliates from using in Skiller.Zone™ marketing or platform materials, the protected trademarks, logos, or trade names of any third-party game publisher, console manufacturer, digital storefront, or platform operator. Skiller.Zone™ respects the intellectual property rights of all third parties and will promptly remove any material found to infringe such rights upon notice. Neutral descriptive terms (e.g., "sports simulator," "gaming platform," "cloud gaming venue," "console/PC platform") are used throughout the Platform in place of any protected brand names.

2.4. The Platform is designed for head-to-head skill contests. Its fee structure, dispute process, and match rules apply to matches played by the participants themselves; lotteries and chance-based formats are outside the service.

3. Accounts

3.1. Web: you may connect a non-custodial wallet, or register via social/email login with an internal custodial balance.

3.2. Telegram Mini App: your account is created automatically using your Telegram identity (initData). No additional fields are required to register.

3.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3.4. One account per person. Multiple accounts controlled by the same individual, or coordinated between individuals to circumvent matchmaking, fees, bonuses, or the Fair Play system, are prohibited (see Section 8 and the Game Rules).

4. Custodial Balance and Deposits

4.1. Skiller.Zone™ maintains an internal custodial balance ("$USD-Platform balance") for each user. This balance is used to fund matches, receive winnings, and hold bonus credits.

4.2. Deposits may be made via supported cryptocurrency networks or via card/local payment methods through a fiat-to-crypto on-ramp processor (currently planned: 0xProcessing and/or comparable aggregators). Regardless of deposit method, funds are settled and held on the Platform as crypto-backed custodial balance.

4.3. Minimum deposit: $10 USD. See the Refund Policy for deposit sizing recommendations relative to dispute risk.

4.4. Aggregator fees on deposits are covered by Skiller.Zone™ at launch ("0% deposit fee" marketing position); this may change with notice.

5. Withdrawals

5.1. Withdrawals are processed using a real-time risk-scoring system. Low-risk withdrawals are typically processed within seconds. Withdrawals flagged as medium or high risk may be subject to a short automated step-up check or manual review; see the Refund Policy for full detail.

5.2. Funds held in escrow for an active or disputed match cannot be withdrawn until the match is resolved, cancelled, or the dispute (including any appeal) is concluded.

5.3. Skiller.Zone™ reserves the right to request identity verification (KYC) at any stage, including before processing a withdrawal, where our risk systems flag a transaction, account, or pattern of activity as warranting additional verification (see the Privacy Policy, Section on Identity Verification).

6. Matches, Fees, and Match Discipline Rating

6.1. Matches are created via automatic matchmaking, the "Play Again" (rematch) feature, or a direct challenge to another user by platform nickname. All three channels are logged with a distinct match creation type, tied to a unique Match ID (see Game Rules).

6.2. Platform fee: 10% flat, deducted from the total match pool, per PRD §6.7.

6.3. Match Discipline Rating. To discourage accepting or creating matches without intent to play, each account is assigned a discipline category based on its no-show rate on accepted or started challenges:

  • Not Yet Rated (N/A): applies for a player's first 10 accepted/started challenges. Tracked internally but does not affect charges.
  • Disciplined: no-show rate of 20% or less (rolling basis, see Game Rules for the calculation window).
  • Not Disciplined: no-show rate above 20%.

A no-show by a player in the Disciplined or N/A category results in a full refund to both players, no charge. A no-show by a player in the Not Disciplined category results in a charge equal to 100% of the platform fee that would have applied to that pool, deducted from the no-show player's stake (the remainder is refunded to them); 50% of the charged amount is credited to the affected opponent, and 50% is retained by Skiller.Zone™. Full mechanics are set out in the Game Rules.

6.4. Detailed match rules — reporting, disconnections, draws, lag, cheating, and dispute procedures — are governed by the Game Rules, incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

7. Bonuses and Referral Program

7.1. New users may receive a bonus credit on their first deposit only (updated, Session 18 — previously applied to the first two deposits):

  • Standard signup bonus: 50% of the deposit amount, capped at $250.
  • Referral signup bonus (user registered via a valid referral link): 75% of the deposit amount, capped at $250.

Both bonus tiers unlock under the same formula: 10% of the player's own stake per settled match played (not a flat percentage per match count, not a faster rate for referrals — the referral incentive is expressed entirely through the higher bonus percentage above, not through unlock speed). Only matches with a decisive economic outcome count toward unlock progress: a WIN/LOSS result, or a mutual-loss void where the platform fee is retained. Matches voided with a full refund (e.g. an N/A or Disciplined player's no-show, a disconnection void, or any other full-refund void) do not count toward unlock, regardless of which party they were voided in favor of.

7.1a. Unlock deadline. The bonus must be fully unlocked within 10 days of being credited (i.e., from the moment of the qualifying first deposit). Any portion of the bonus not unlocked within this window is forfeited. Bonus credit already unlocked before the deadline is unaffected and follows the 30-day unlocked-balance expiry in Section 7.2 below.

7.2. Unlocked-but-unclaimed bonus balances expire 30 days after the bonus was unlocked. Bonus credit not yet unlocked is also forfeited if the account is suspended or terminated for cause, consistent with the 10-day unlock deadline above.

7.3. Skiller.Zone™ may, at its discretion, offer additional promotional or seasonal deposit bonuses from time to time. Such bonuses are governed by their own specific terms published at the time of the promotion, in addition to this Agreement.

7.4. Your account dashboard ("MySkillerZOne") will display your current bonus balance, unlock progress, and any active promotional bonus status.

7.5. Referral program: a user who refers a new player receives 20% of Skiller.Zone™'s platform fee revenue generated by the referred player, for the lifetime of the referred player's account, credited to the referrer's balance. This 20% is the standard rate applicable to all users by default.

7.5.1. Skiller.Zone™ may offer a higher referral rate, up to a maximum of 30%, to participants of contracted programmes (including but not limited to contracted players, affiliate partners and content creators) under a separate individual agreement. Such elevated rates are granted at Skiller.Zone™'s sole discretion, do not create an entitlement for any other user, and are subject to the terms of the relevant individual agreement. The standard rate under Section 7.5 is not reduced by the existence of such programmes.

7.5.2. Referral commission is calculated on Skiller.Zone™'s platform fee revenue only — not on the wager amount, the prize pool, or the referred player's winnings. Commission accrued on a completed match is calculated at the rate in effect at the time that match was played; a subsequent change of the referrer's rate does not retroactively recalculate commission already accrued.

7.6. Bonus and referral abuse — including collusion, self-referral, or match manipulation intended to farm bonus unlocks or referral payouts — is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of bonus/referral balances and account penalties under Section 8 and the Game Rules.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

(a) cheat, use unauthorized third-party software, exploit bugs, or manipulate connection quality to disadvantage an opponent;

(b) collude with another account to manufacture match outcomes, including through matchmaking, rematch, or direct-challenge channels;

(c) operate or control multiple accounts, or coordinate with others to circumvent these Terms;

(d) submit falsified, misleading, or manipulated evidence in a dispute;

(e) mislead an opponent or Skiller.Zone™ staff to gain an unfair advantage;

(f) attempt to launder funds through match outcomes or deposit/withdrawal patterns;

(g) initiate a chargeback without first contacting Skiller.Zone™ support (see Refund Policy, Section on Chargebacks);

(h) harass, threaten, or abuse other users or Skiller.Zone™ staff, including within in-platform messaging;

(i) advertise third-party or competing services within in-platform messaging or chat;

(j) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

Violations are addressed under the Strike System and other mechanisms set out in the Game Rules, up to and including permanent account termination. Permanent termination does not by itself forfeit your real (cash) balance — see Section 11.3 — though any unlocked bonus credit is forfeited under Section 7.2, and funds tied to a confirmed fraudulent chargeback remain subject to recovery under the Refund Policy.

9. In-Platform Communication

9.1. The Platform provides several messaging features: pre-match waiting-room chat, direct player-to-player messaging, and language-segmented live lobby chat.

9.2. Use of these features is subject to the Prohibited Conduct rules in Section 8 and to the monitoring practices disclosed in the Privacy Policy. Skiller.Zone™ may issue strikes or bans for violations detected through user reports, manual review, or automated (including AI-assisted) scanning.

10. Disputes

Match disputes are resolved under the process set out in the Game Rules, with a published first-decision SLA and a right of appeal. Disputes regarding these Terms generally (not match outcomes) are addressed under Section 13 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution).

11. Termination

11.1. You may close your account at any time by contacting support, subject to resolution of any active matches, disputes, or pending withdrawals.

11.2. Skiller.Zone™ may suspend or terminate your account for violation of this Agreement, suspected fraud, legal or regulatory reasons, or at its discretion with notice where required by law. Section 8 and the Game Rules' Strike System govern penalty escalation for conduct violations specifically.

11.3. Updated (Session 10): upon termination for cause, including a permanent ban under a fourth Strike (see Game Rules, Section 13), your real (cash) account balance is not forfeited. You retain the right to withdraw it, subject to Skiller.Zone™'s standard withdrawal risk-scoring and identity-verification procedures (Section 5). Any bonus credit not yet unlocked at the time of termination is forfeited, consistent with Section 7.2, as such credit is promotional and not your own deposited funds. This section does not limit Skiller.Zone™'s separate right, described in the Refund Policy (Section 5.4), to withhold and recover funds directly traceable to a confirmed fraudulent chargeback — that is treated as recovery of a direct loss to Skiller.Zone™, not a penalty under the Strike System, and remains a distinct question pending further review.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12.2. Skiller.Zone™ is not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of any third-party gaming platform, network, or payment processor used to play matches or move funds.

12.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skiller.Zone™'s aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount of your deposits in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. [Placeholder — to be confirmed with legal counsel; may require adjustment for Seychelles-specific consumer protection rules.]

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [Placeholder — arbitration forum, seat, and rules to be confirmed with legal counsel; not yet finalized.]

13.2. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have under the mandatory law of your jurisdiction of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Contact

Support contact: [to be added]

Draft update (2026-09-21, not approved for publication): an initial match-dispute decision may be appealed once within 2 hours; the appeal may include an optional comment and new photo/video evidence. This filing window is distinct from the 24-hour first-review SLA. Existing issued deadlines are preserved.

Draft clarification (not approved for publication): disputed stakes remain held after the first decision until the final appeal decision or expiration of the two-hour filing window without an appeal. A timely appeal extends the hold until the final decision. Owner-confirmed exception: mutual LOSS reports retain the immediate 90% refund of each stake, without a contest-window hold.
